July 27-29 is the annual Tennessee Tax-Free Weekend.
For eligible purchases made during this time, you can buy without paying the normal 7% state sales tax.
In general, eligible purchases include clothing that costs $100 or less per item, school or art supplies that cost $100 or less per item, and computers or tablets that cost $1,500 or less.
